Accident on the Ayer Rajah Expressway on thursday caused a death of one man and another man's leg to be amputated. The dead, a tow truck driver with the Expressway monitoring Advisory System service who was responding to a call for help.the man,who is identified as tan lost his leg was there to help his sister whose car had broken down.
His sister's car broke down and she called tan for help. Tan arrived shortly after and they waited at the shoulder of the road to wait for her car to be tow away. the dead man was done with his task and was behind his truck collecting the warning sign he left on the road to alert the on coming vehicles. A bus was traveling down barre;ed into thw road shoulder and ran over him and hit into his truck. the truck then smash onto tan's car and the car moved forward and hit tan and his sister.
Tan was being pinned on the ground by his car. his left leg was later amputated during the operation as the bones are smashed. his sister wasn't seriously injured and is still in the hospital. the truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and the bus driver wh was also injured was arrested by the police office.
