This is an article by Channel News Asia titled Fastest Durian Eater in Singapore
The Fastest Durian Eating Challenge produced Singapore's fastest durian eater, who shockingly ate 321 grammes of durian in under one minute.
Thirty-four-year-old Aundrey Bosco Francis beat nine other finalists at the event that was held at Jurong Point.
Each finalist was given under one minute to gobble down the king of fruits.
The winner was decided by the weight of durian flesh consumed by the end of the time limit.
Aundrey’s name will be written down in the Singapore Book of Records for the most durians eaten in one minute.
The Fastest Durian Eating Challenge is also part of the 'Fast is Amazing' competition series launched by SingTel to bring the racing action closer to Singaporeans.
In my opinion, this article shows that people can be famous for the most unusual things, even one as unusual as eating the king of fruits as fast as possible. It also shows that one should never give up when achieving his dream, who knows, perhaps you might end up having your name down in the book of records too!
